Reservation Questions

What happens after I make my reservation?

Once you make your reservation, an agent will review it and then email you your invoice/receipt. Your invoice/receipt will list your payment plan. This is set up by default to automatically charge your credit card used when booking according to the payment schedule.

If I pick my own roommate, what happens if my roommate drops out and cancel their reservations?

If your roommate cancels their reservations, you will be responsible for finding a new roommate or your account will be adjusted to the package price and you must pay the additional cost for the room occupancy change.

This does not apply if you originally signed up for our roommate match program.

Do I need a passport to book with Real Travel Vibes?

Yes, a valid passport is required for all international travel booked with Real Travel Vibes. It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure that they have the appropriate passport with at least 6 months validity and also the appropiate visa requirements for their chosen destination.

Is travel insurance included in the trip packages?

No, travel insurance is not typically included in the trip packages offered by Real Travel Vibes. However, we strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances and provide peace of mind during your journey.

Do you provide roommate matching?

Don’t miss out on the next trip simply because your friends and family are not able to go with you. Our FREE Roommate Matching program will match you with another solo traveler to share a room. Not only will you save money, but you might even find your new travel buddy for future trips!

When will I receive the itinerary for my trip?

Provided full payment is received no later than your Final Payment Due date, travel documents, itineraries and travel instructions will be sent via email 14 days prior to travel (unless otherwise noted on your trip details page).

Can I travel solo with Real Travel Vibes?

Yes, Real Travel Vibes always welcomes solo travelers. Our group trips offer a welcoming and inclusive environment, providing opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals and forge new friendships.

Are there age restrictions for joining Real Travel Vibes Group trips?

Age restritions vary by trip. For example, some trips are adult-only while others are open to children. Please see the trip page for details about a specific trip. In addition review our terms and conditions for complete information on child travelers.

Payment Questions

What payments do you accept?

Reservations can be made online using most major credit cards (such as Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express).

Do I have to make a payment every month?

Payments should be made according to the payment due dates as indicated on your invoice. Late payment fees will be charged per occurrence when a payment plan payment is not received by the payment due date as indicated on your invoice. 

Payments past due 60+ days will be grounds for immediate cancellation. In addition, your trip is subject to cancellation if balance is not paid in full by the final payment deadline on your account.

Do you provide refunds?

All deposits and payments to Real Travel Vibes are non-refundable and non-transferable (unless otherwise noted  during the booking process). This is because Real Travel Vibes has contractual agreements with hotels, airlines and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds. This allows us to keep our package prices competitive and allows you to make monthly payments on your vacation.

Each client is required to accept our Terms and Conditions before reservation is accepted. To protect your investment, each and every client is encouraged to purchase travel insurance. Please more about Travel Insurance here.

What happens if I make my payments, but my roommate(s) fail to pay?

If your roommate fails to pay, you will be responsible for finding a new roommate or your account will be adjusted to the package price and you must pay the additional cost for the room occupancy change.
